2 oz bourbon (a smooth Southern-style one)
1/2 oz peach liqueur
1/2 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and warm water)
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Garnish: grilled peach slice or sprig of rosemary
Chill a rocks glass or coupe in the freezer.
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice: bourbon, peach liqueur, honey syrup, lemon juice, and bitters.
Shake thoroughly until chilled and combined.
Strain into the glass over a large ice cube or serve it neat.
Garnish with seduction: A grilled peach slice rests gently on the rim, or a lightly torched rosemary sprig adds a smoky flourish.
